Aerospace Qualty AMS 5637 (SAE 30302) is an Austenitic Stainless Steel, the alloy provides useful resistance to corrosion on a wide range of moderately oxidising to moderately reducing environments. It is used widely in equipment and utensils for processing and handling of food, beverages and dairy products. Heat exchangers, tanks.

Special Melting Process Route
This alloy is generally smelt in Basic Electric Furnace EAF, AOD or VIM + Electroslag remelting (ESR). For a purpose of superior quality, it should be smelt via technology of vacuum refining or by agreement.
